You will find Villas -Azul/-Roja/-Turquesa on Isla Boca Brava; right opposite the unique fisherman's village of Boca Chica. A water-taxi boat brings you over in 2 minutes, usd 2,-/p.p. The captains of these taxi's will offer their services for a fishing, site-seeing or island-hopping tour. They are all prowd, skillfull and independent personalities: fishermen are the last species of self-reliant individuals! They know where to find fish, whale-watching is big during the months of July till November and the islands are devine: white beaches full of coconut-palms, a friendly restaurant with fresh fish on the menu or snorkeling when the sea calms down. ISLA BOCA BRAVA :is jungle-paradise for howler-monkeys and bird-spotting. Deserted beaches, a.o. playa de coco, and hikes through jungle and grassland. Our farm has a group of beautiful 'wild' cows and some horses. Intriguing indigenous sacred spots and observation-platforms. Marvellous ocean- and estero-views. Hike to hotel Boca Brava for lunch, return by taxi-boat. For the 'strong and sportive': have your lunch and go by (our free) kayak! From the interamericana follow the signs "Boca Chica". Entering Boca Chica, take the right street, follow till the water-edge. (ca. 200M). Get a watertaxi, unload your luggage and bring your car back, ca. 50M., to a parking-spot which will cost you 3 usd/night! When in the watertaxi please call Vittoria, and she will wait for you at the other side of the water-crossing. Welcome to unique Isla Boca Brava! We have arrangements with 2 restaurants in Boca Chica. Their menu's you will find in the guest-book in your villa. You choose, you order and you arrange with them at what time the boat should deliver! Excellent honest, fresh, natural (sea)food at prices of 'yesteryear'. Many an enthousiastic amateur gourmet-chef stopped cooking, enjoying the boat-delivered meals instead. (and so did all their friends...).
