Unwind in the cool breeze of the majestic Vic Falls with an opportunity to experience local culture. This private residence which accommodates up to 6 people, runs purely on eco-friendly solar power and solar water heating system. Guests get to enjoy both privacy and leisure in the well manicured gardens and may access a variety of organic vegetables grown on the property. KhayaLethu is located in a medium density area, which are generally quiet and safe for walks or early morning runs. Due to the lush green gardens and the various trees on the property, there are very good opportunities for bird watchers and nature lovers as we have a couple of nests on the property. The whole property is dura-walled (security wall) and has an electric motor gate which makes it easy for guests to have their own remote control unit to the main gate. Guests have access to the whole property including a small organic veggie garden that they can harvest their daily veggies and herbs from. There is also open wifi- and an open fire brai stand for those who prefer meat. If booking the whole property as a family, you therefore have full unrestricted access to everything on the property. We will happily assist in booking local tours and activities before and during the stay. A number of cultural activities and village visits can also be organised including visit to local rural communities we work with and support. We are happy to join the guests to a meal when at their invitation. Located 10mins walk from the town centre, the residence offers access to day trips into Hwange Nat Park, Zambezi Nat Park and Vic Falls Nat Park. Day tours into Chobe Botswana and Livingstone Zambia can easily be organised. Generally for those fond of walking, one can easily walk around to the falls, shops and other amenities. We will also organise transport for your local movements and also use very reliable taxi services. Vic Falls in general is a very safe space and guests are free to walk around and also enjoy the township vibe in the area. The water in the houses is safe to drink and is supplied by Victoria Falls Municipality. The area is generally very quite with potential for noise on Sundays during a church service.
