Totaling 200 acres, only 50 acres have been developed so far, into 39 home sites. It is gated and very private. Views of the valley below and mountains beyond are outstanding Roads are privately maintained and are wide although somewhat curvy. The elevation runs 4,000 to 5,000 feet and the community is predominantly comprised of summer homes. The roads are paved all around the subdivision with some sharp switchbacks and steep roads. We highly recommend a 4wd during the winter season. This was the second Smoky Mountain Retreat to be developed. It is part of a larger 500 acre community that includes approximately 150 other log home sites. All the roads are paved up to the house, the driveway is gravel. This is in a gated community. We highly recommend AWD in the wintertime. Some areas may be steep. The drive to the property is all paved roads with some sharp switchbacks and steep inclines. We recommend having a 4WD.
