The Neighborhood Imperial Beach is a relaxing Oceanside town with 6 miles of gorgeous Southern California beaches. Visit the breath-taking estuary filled with rare birds. Jump on a bike and hit the trails with more than 30 miles of trails all connected, including the Bayshore Bikeway that can take you for a tour all the way around the bay to visit the attractions of San Diego. Oh, not to mention our world famous surfing. • Imperial Beach – It is about 1 mile from the house to the beach. Near the IB Pier there are several restaurants including Coronado Brewing Company, Brigantine Seafood & Oyster Bar, and Mike Hess Brewing paired with City Tacos. There are also a few good restaurants within 2 minutes walk from the house including Big Kahuna Burger, Meijo Sushi, and Giant Pizza King. The same complex just across the street from the house also offers a commercial gym. • Coronado/Silver Strand – The Hotel Del Coronado is a breathtaking building definitely worth a visit. To get there you simply follow Silver Strand Blvd. a few minutes north and you cannot miss it. On the way you will pass Silver Strand State Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in in all of San Diego wedged between the Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay. Coronado Island offers a variety of fine dining options as well as bike and kayak rentals. • Groceries, Stores, Shopping – Within 5 minutes driving from the house you can find A Grocery Outlet, Vons Grocery, Walmart, gas stations, and Chase Bank all off of Palm Ave. Everything you need to grab for a day at the beach is just minutes away from this house! The beach is a 15 minute walk and the IB Pier is not much further. Bicycling is extremely popular as the entire city is nearly completely level. If you are venturing to other parts of San Diego, I would recommend driving.
