Modeled after our experiences hiking the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Nordregaard (the name of our cabin) was fashioned after the AMC huts (Lonesome Lake, Carter Notch, etc.). We seek to maintain the strong connection with the outdoors (that’s why you’re here… right?) but with a little dash of Danish hygger (Danish word for cozy) by providing for some basics such as an outhouse, basic water systems, outdoor shower, drinking water and protection from the elements.
