Cozy studio cabana on private property between the village of Hopkins and the resort area. We are not a resort, instead, we offer budget accommodations so that more of your money can be spent on your activities. We are a Gold Standard Certified location within Belize so this will give you the confidence that we take the health and welfare of our guests very seriously. This is a tiny home, set on the outskirts of Hopkins Village, just past GariMaya Gift Shop. We strive to ensure you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay and if something isn't available, just tell us. Either we will get it or we can't but we can chat about it. Our objective is to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as we can make it. We use locally sourced artwork, furniture, blankets, appliances wherever possible. We have a yardman come at least once a week to keep the yard looking great and we provide a once a week housekeeper for those staying longer than 1 week. This service is provided at no charge to our guests. The housekeeper will clean the bathroom as well as change all the linens. Any other cleaning you may want to be done please arrange with the cleaning lady at your own discretion. We provide a coffee pot, kettle, microwave, pots and pans, dishes and flatware, cups and glasses, cooking utensils, towels. Wi-Fi, hot water, air conditioning, and most importantly privacy. For a better price than anywhere else around. We have had guests stay for a few days and others have stayed for months. The owners lived in this particular cabana for 3 years. We live and work on the property so are always available to answer questions and provide information. But we also recognize that you are on vacation so we leave you alone as much or as little as you like. If this cabana is booked already we have 3 more. We are situated halfway between the village of Hopkins and the resorts. Comfortable walk in either direction. Car rental at the airport makes it easy to get around this uncomplicated country. You can also take the domestic airline into the nearest town and rent a car for periods of time during your stay. Bicycles, motorcycles, golf carts are also available locally. It is possible to rent a vehicle in the village of Hopkins. We have bicycles you can use. Rent a golf cart to see more of the area. . Ritchie's Bus Line passes in front 2x a day. The morning run, at approximately 6:15 a.m. heads north and the afternoon run, at approximately 3 p.m. heads south. Or hire a taxi for the day. We do not provide housekeeping services. We will change out the sheets and towels upon request or at maximum, once per week during your stay. We can schedule our regular cleaning staff, on your behalf, for $12.50 USD per half day to come in and perform housekeeping functions. If you use oils and sunscreens on your body please put a towel on the furniture before you sit if you haven't showered it off. Towels are easier to replace than the seat cushion covers.
