Designed for families, friends, and remote workers, the Casa Azul is an easy place for everyone to have their space. Fast, reliable internet (60Mbps, fiber optic) is available in all parts of the house. PLEASE NOTE: Construction is active next door 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri, 8am-12pm Sat. There is the possibility of noise during these hours. We have a base fee for groups of 4 people to keep the house accessible to smaller groups. For groups larger than 4 people, there is a charge per extra guests. This is automatically calculated by Airbnb when you enter your total guest number. For security reasons, kindly note we have a no day guest and no party policy. Please ask if you have questions. We have 2 Ring cameras in the outdoor entry areas (front entry, garage entry) for your safety. The residential security may impose a fine for loud music after 10pm for which the guest is responsible. The Casa Azul is a 3 min drive (15 min walk) from the popular surf and tourist town El Tunco, with restaurants, shops, surf options, and nightlife. El Tunco is the center of El Salvador's beach nightlife. The house is a 3 min drive from Sunzal beach and a 15 min drive to Zonte or La Libertad. It is a 45 minute drive to San Salvador's restaurants, fun, and nightlife. We can arrange all-inclusive transport. The fully equipped chef's kitchen is ideal for group meals. The indoor living area has a sofa, TV, books and games and opens onto the patio. We strive to be eco-friendly, and while A/C is available in each bedroom, the living area is cooled by ceiling and floor fans. Enjoy ocean views from the patio sofa, chairs, or hammock, or dine alfresco. The outdoor patio dining table seats 8 and faces the ocean-facing infinity pool. The patio has an area with sofas– a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon drink. Dip into Casa Azul’s ocean-facing infinity pool and watch the sunset after cooling off in the outdoor shower. Office/Game room - An oversized desk allows you to enjoy inspired garden and ocean vistas while working. Settle scores at the foosball table! The Board Room - Store your surf boards in a special indoor room. You can walk in directly from the pool/outdoor patio area, so no stairs are involved. We see you, longboarders. Bedrooms All bedrooms have individual ceiling fans and A/C units. Crib with mosquito netting is available upon request. Main suite (Sunzal) - Pamper yourself with sunset and ocean views. This spacious haven has a king-sized bed and oversized chairs for relaxing and sunset views. There is A/C and a ceiling fan. A large table can serve as a work space. Enjoy direct access to the sunset hut. The large en-suite bathroom has two sinks and a spacious shower with two shower heads overlooking the ocean. Bedroom 2 (Mango) - Drift to sleep with an ocean view with a "cama matrimonial" (56" x 74", in-between a double and a queen) and shared bathroom. Bedroom 3 (Ataco) - Enjoy mountain and ocean views from this corner room with a "cama matrimonial" (56" x 74", in-between a double and a queen), large closet, and shared bathroom. Bedroom 4 (Morazán) -2 full size beds overlooking the garden, street and garage. There is a workspace and an armoire to store belongings. This room shares a bathroom. Bedroom 5 (La Palma) - 2 full size beds overlooking the street and palms of the front entry area of the Casa Azul. There is a workspace and an armoire to store belongings. This room shares a bathroom. Please note El Salvador's coastal area has a fragile electric grid and there are possibilities for power outages in the neighborhood and surrounding beach area. You will be renting the entire house and property. The Casa Azul is in a private gated community of Cerromar, ensuring privacy, 24/7 security, and peacefulness. Free parking outside the house. Cerromar is a quiet, secure residential area where guests can enjoy walks (with some hills!) and stunning views of the ocean and mountains. Cerromar is a gated community where you can walk around. We recommend renting a car so you can easily drive to beaches, restaurants, surf breaks, and other attractions. Alternatively, we can arrange private transport. Sunzal beach is a 15 minute walk away.
