Located in the center of Koror, our newly renovated apartment is within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Palau's dive centers, supermarket, national cultural center, hospital, local market, shops, bars and restaurants! Perfect for a couple, a solo traveller or long-term guest. The apartment is located on the second floor of the Meda Terrace building. The first floor consists of two office spaces and a parking area. The space is ideal for couples or solo travellers wanting to save money from expensive hotel rooms and have the luxury of cooking at home for a few days or a few weeks! The kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishes and appliances. We also have a water filtration system to refill your bottles so we can avoid plastic pollution. There is also a dining table for 4 people and a coffee table area with a couch. In addition there is 1 full bathroom with a new shower and toilet. The bedroom is cozy, clean and chic with a queen-sized bed that can fit 2 people. There is also ample closet and drawer space and a mirror. We provided sheets and towels. The apartment is on the second floor, through the main entrance of the building and then you will have your own private entrance. I'll be staying in one of the other "Meda Terrace" apartments next door so will be readily available most of the time to provide recommendations and assistance for anything you need! Medalaii is home to our Palau Visitor's Authority, Ngarachamayong Cultural Center and short walk across the causeway to our Belau National Hospital. Wake up and walk to Rock Island Cafe to have an international breakfast and a smoothie. Or maybe get a "bento" lunch of local fresh grilled fish and taro along with a coconut at Yano's Market. Or you may want to stock up on food at the local grocery store called "Surangel" and enjoy cooking at home. ALL within walking distance. Medalaii Hamlet, Koror State, is where the first President of the Republic of Palau resided when elected, where he lived alongside the very first lawyers and judges of the Republic whose residences were also located in this same neighborhood. Up to present time, the highest residential real estate values are around the Meda Loop which is originated in this neighborhood. This is where the Palau Supreme Court, Palau Visitors Authority, Ngarachamayong Cultural Center, Palau International Coral Reef Center, Palau Post Office, Police Station, Civic Center Hall, Koror State Capitol, Ministry of Education, Palau High School, Palau National Gymnasium, Palau Community College and many other historical buildings are located. This is the center of the town of Koror, where access to all tour operators, major docks, banks, restaurants, libraries, central market, gas stations etc is easily found.
