Fantastic views over Lake Naivasha, adjacent to one of the best golf courses in Africa. Perfect base to plan trips to the nature reserves around Naivasha. Small self-catering kitchen included complete with fridge, induction hob, microwave,cooking utensils, pots/pans, crockery and cutlery. Laundry/Iron available on request. Tea/Coffee and milk plus Osmosised water will be provided, all other cooking ingredients will need to be brought by the guest. Green Park is a residential estate situated on the Eburu Massif. It is accessed through the main Great Rift Valley Lodge and golf resort Gate then through a secondary security controlled Gate. With its electric fence and constant security patrols it feels extremely safe and secluded. It has amazing views across Lake Naivasha and towards the Abadare mountains in the east, the Mau escarpment in the west, Mount Longanot and Hells Gate national park, with the Geothermal energy generating operation to the south. At certain times of the year it can be extremely dry and dusty. So we ask all our guests to respect the 30km speed limit on the dirt roads. Best way to get around is by car, parking is available on-site. Going further afield around the lake to the west or up to Eburu forest a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Great Rift Valley Lodge has a small shop next to the Caddie office. Ideal for some essential groceries, chilled goods and frozens. On Saturday there’s usually a fresh fruit and veg seller plus a fabulous purveyor of hand made baked goods.Just outside the main gate there is a Delta Garage with a small shop and liquor store.
