This stunning cottage has 2 fantastic double bedrooms, and views over the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha are just down the road. On the same estate as Leleshwa House, guests have use of the solar-heated swimming pool and beautiful gardens. This is a wonderful place to explore the wonders of Naivasha Lake and the wildlife around here, but equally, a fantastic place to have fun or relax with friends and family. Makuti Cottage is set on 5 acres, with 2 large double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. There is a great living room, a functional kitchen, a guest bathroom, and stunning views of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha from the balcony. Guests also have full use of the wonderful pool and gardens. Guests have full access to the cottage, pool, and gardens. If part of a larger group there is also Leleshwa House and Buffalo Lodges 1 & 2 which are available to rent on the same property. The Great Rift Valley Lodge sits just down the road from the cottage and also has an excellent golf course with reasonable green fees, a pool and tennis courts, and a restaurant that guests can also visit to use the facilities or eat there. NOTE: The swimming pool is currently ongoing an upgrade and thus unavailable. However, the guests will use the pool at the lodge in the meantime. As soon as a booking is made guests can contact us by telephone, email or through the Airbnb site. We enjoy meeting guests and helping them with bookings for trips to the lake if they require it, share a drink round the pool if they choose to, but we respect their privacy and only socialise with them if they wish. We have a talented chef/ housekeeper available to help our guests relax and enjoy their stay with us. All beddings and towels are available for our guests. The kitchen is well equipped for our guests to use. Fresh bread rolls or a cake, milk, tea and coffee is available for guests on arrival. The nearest supermarket is in Naivasha, 25 minutes drive from the cottage, there is also a small shop at the Lodge 1 km from the house which sells daily basics, there is also and off license 5 minutes walk from the cottage where wine, beers, and spirits can be purchased.
