The Coconut House is a beautifully renovated property with ocean views and steps from the caribbean sea. This house is located off the famous sidewalk in the Placencia village in a quiet part of town, but is less than a 5 minute walk to 30+ fantastic bars and restaurants. In addition to the phenomenal location, this property boasts of a 1,000 square foot private deck, modern furniture/appliances and beautiful 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is a cozy sun filled home great for a family or 6 people. **Notice: Our neighbor is doing construction on a new home from Jan-June 2024 and prices will reflect a discount for any noise disruption. ** Coconut Beach Rentals property offers 3 vacation rental units on the oceanfront, each with unobstructed oceans views and 700 square feet or greater of private deck space, all with direct beach access within 120 feet from the Caribbean Sea. Each unit offers indoor/outdoor dining areas. Each unit has modern design and furniture, a large HD TV with 100+ channels, wifi, king size beds, and a modern kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. All units feature high speed complimentary internet access so you can stay connected while you are away. Each unit also includes an air conditioning system. This property is The Coconut House. It is 1,200 square feet offering 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a queen memory foam pull-out couch. The Coconut House has a full chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, lots of cabinet space and a dishwasher. The Coconut House also offers a sprawling 1,000 square foot front deck with lounge chairs and an outdoor table and chairs for 6 people for outdoor dining. We also have a cornhole (bags) set for playing on the deck. There is a private outdoor shower. The large HD TV has over 100 channels (including premium channels) and Amazon Fire stick to access all TV apps you utilize (HBO Go, Netflix, Amazon, Showtime now, youtube, and etc.) The Coconut House property can be rented separately or inquire to rent out the whole property (All 3 units). There is $10US charge for a load of laundry available. This property is accessible by turning off the main road in Placencia Village toward the sidewalk. There is a shared pathway to the beach which is illuminated with solar lights at night. There are also many security motion sensor lights to assist you. Parking: There is a golf cart parking area located on the property and separate shared car parking within walking distance down the driveway behind Manatee Inn. We offer airport shuttle pick up at the local Placencia Airport to Coconut Beach upon arrangement. You are responsible for your departure taxi ($10US) and we can assist you scheduling the departure. Our Property Manager, Tricia, will meet you upon arrival and show you the house and, assist with any requests! Please do let us know how you will communicate with us if you arrive via car as we will need to meet you in front of the property. Once a sleepy fishing village, Placencia has emerged as a “must go to destination” to enjoy outdoor adventures, beachfront bars, a variety of restaurants, and spacious beaches. Located at the end of the 16-mile Placencia peninsula, the village offers restaurants, shopping, beach bars, accommodations, and tour services. A boat ride from the Placencia Village can bring you to one of the largest reefs in the world for fantastic diving, snorkeling and fishing opportunities. Other excursions include: Food tours, Mayan Ruins tour, Monkey River tour, ATM Cave tours, Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and more. The Placencia airport is a 10 minute taxi drive from the property. You can walk to many bars and restaurants from the property. However, there are many resorts and other amenities that are just a short taxi ride away or accessible by golf cart within a 5-20 minute drive up the peninsula. If you rent a golf cart, we have ample golf cart parking in our front area. Almost everything you could want is a short walk along the Placencia sidewalk from the property. Parking: There is a golf cart parking area located on the property and separate shared car parking within walking distance. There are lounge chairs located on the beach to use and plenty of beach towels. We don't offer snorkel gear, but the Placencia Awesome Water Sports in front of Tipsy Tuna has kayaks, snorkel gear and more to rent and is only a 10 minute walk down the sidewalk :) Cleaning schedule: • Guests staying 1 week, you will receive a “Tidy” cleaning on a day that works best which includes a fresh towels swap, sweeping, bed make up and light kitchen clean. • Guests staying longer than 1 week, you will receive a weekly cleaning which includes fresh towels swap, sweeping, fresh bed linens, and a full kitchen cleaning at no additional cost. We have seamless security bars on the windows for security measures allowing you to enjoy the tropical breeze and ocean waves with the windows open :)
