The kitchen features solid granite countertops, new flexible faucet, new gourmet gas cooktop, stainless steel Cuisnart cookware, new dishwasher, microwave, and coffeemaker, and large skylight. A large gas grill is just steps away on the kitchen patio. A handy office space is attached to the kitchen, as well as an additional flatscreen monitor for your laptop. The living room has a comfortable, microfiber sectional, fireplace (starter wood provided), and vaulted ceilings, with a 56" TV featuring Netflix, Prime, Hulu, HBO, Showtime, ESPN, Apple TV, and Vizio streaming options (no cable). There is also a Bose speaker available in the Boardroom with a Bluetooth adapter that syncs easily to most smart devices. The master bedroom opens directly to the pool and patio area, and features a Posturepedic memory foam mattress on an adjustable bed, TV w/Apple TV and digital antenna, generous closet space, and attached master bath with skylight, walk-in or roll-in shower. The guest bedroom features a queen bed with large closet and tranquil beach theme. The kids room features twin/double bunk bed, and lots of room for gear or a pack n’ play. The second bath features custom tile and skylight, and has a full tub and shower. A first aid kit is also provided. The 5000sq.ft. back patio boasts a 16’ x 40’ saltwater pool ranging from 3.5’ to 10’ in depth, a new hot tub that seats 6, and an outdoor sun shower. There is also a variety of patio seating and umbrellas. All towels and linens are provided, as well as a selection of beach towels, pool toys, beach toys, coolers, chairs, boogie boards, and a beach wagon. This home was custom renovated with wheelchair access in mind. The entire home and property is one level. The kitchen, master bedroom and master bath are ADA accessible. Please mention specific accessibility needs when booking. There is a property manager/concierge (Logan) that lives on the property when it's not occupied by guests. During your stay, he is available via phone for any needs or issues during your stay, and may make 2-3 weekly visits to the property to care for the spa and pool, specific garden elements and handle the weekly garbage and recycling pickups (Tues/Wed). He respects the privacy of our guests, and notifies guests directly via cell # when he requires access to the property. Quiet, family-oriented neighborhood, and the home is on a cul de sac. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Although just a little over 2 miles from the beach, a car is necessary. Uber and Lyft are also available throughout North San Diego County. Alternatively, the "Coaster" is the light rail that runs from San Diego to Oceanside, stopping in Encinitas near Pacific Coast Highway and about 2 miles from the house. The Coaster can be accessed via a short cab ride from San Diego airport, and it's about 45 minutes to Encinitas via the Coaster from SD. The home is located on a quiet street, in a family neighborhood. Quiet Hours are 10pm-8am, and the cooperation of our guests is both expected and greatly appreciated.
