Our cottage is located at a walking distance of Lime Kiln Beach. You will like our cottage because of its privacy and the nature surrounding it. As of October 1st Monserrat welcomes visitors who are fully vaccinated with a WHO approved vaccine and a negative Covid test done within the last 72 hours. In addition visitors are required to quarantine for 5 days upon arrival. During the quarantine you can walk around our property and use the swimming pool in addition. Items can be delivered to you. Our cottage is a great fit for one or two travelers visiting Montserrat for a short or a long stay, with easy access from the road. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, and plenty of storage. Our guests have access to our pool and to our laundry room located in the adjacent main house. Our neighborhood is quiet, located about 15 minute walking distance from Salem, where our guests will find a grocery store, many bars and restaurants (Olveston House, Desert Storm, Food 2 Go to name a few.) The island is quite hilly and we recommend to rent a car unless our guests enjoy walking. There are public minibuses which can take you to many places, our guests just need to walk to the main road to catch them ( about a 20 minute walk). Taxis are readily available. We provide car rental information and taxi driver information in advance, for our guests to optimize their visit in Montserrat We provide a beach towel for each guest during their stay. The laundry room is located in the main house, not in the cottage. You have free access to our laundry room, detergent is available. We provide tea bags and instant coffee for your arrival. Please, do not bring drinking glasses by the pool. You can bring cans and plastic glasses (available in the cottage). no party by the pool after sunset unless you have informed us.
