This tiny house located 800m above sea level offers a compact, elegant space with a great view from the deck. Near an art studio opposite a Samoan fale (house) and art gallery. Sleeps 3 comfortably. Rate is for one guest only: add $5 for each additional guest (up to 2)- breakfast not included. Cool, quiet location with a wild foods cafe at the gallery. Property 2 minutes walk from the Baha'i House of Worship with over 20 acres of serene grounds where guests can visit for walks and meditation. The Ma'oma'o (Samoan honeyeater) is an endangered bird that is endemic to Samoa and sings near the Tiny House every day. It has a range of beautiful melodies and is featured at the beginning of an introduction to films produced at the Tiapapata Art Centre: http://youtu.be/y1DDJOXlTGI. If you have any laundry to do, we have a washing machine in the main house that you can use for WST$10/load (includes laundry powder). We sometimes experience water shortages so care should be taken at all times with water consumption. When we are low in water, laundry is done at a laundromat in town. Guests are free to visit the gallery and cafe and may be able to join in any activities or that may be happening. such as workshops, exhibitions, film screenings or music concerts. Tiapapata is a quiet village with no traditional governance council. The Baha'i House of Worship is visible from the property and makes the area very special to visitors. We are located 8km south of Apia off the Cross Island Road (Falealili Street). The turn off is adjacent to the Baha'i Temple property and has a sign at the main road. It os about 300m to the property where we have a Tiny House and a Treehouse on Airbnb. You can take a bus that goes across the island or a taxi from Apia (about 20 minutes drive). Continental breakfast (coffee, tea, eggs on toast or fruit & cereal) can be ordered from the cafe at a cost of WST$25.00 but there is a gas stove, toaster and fridge in the Tiny House so guests can buy and cook their own food. If you like good espresso and tea or a special breakfast, these can also be ordered and paid for from the Wild Foods Cafe at the Gallery -  opposite the Studio and Tiny House.
