Beautifully renovated apartment in a safe gated community with 2 private beaches! Chairs should not be a problem as I have built some for guests to use... You will absolutely love the amazing snorkelling just steps away from the apartment. This property is truly a little slice of heaven. The apartment is a top floor studio which is our home away from home..a big comfy King size bed..couch, love seat and chair..2 balconies with ocean views..the main beach is right in front of the apartment just steps away!.There is a new kitchen space and bathroom has been renovated. New 24000 btu Windy inverter a/c unit Oct/23 cools down apt in 15 min so you can sleep comfortable and not run it all day....;)..Staying cool is not a problem here a nice ocean breeze blows through apt during the day...it cools off at night..You have spectacular ocean views on both sides of apt... A big fridge, 4 burner stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven and a crock pot are some of the appliances here. We also have a cordless vacuum, floor sweeper and a hand held electric vacuum. There's lots of extra towels, beach towels and bedding if needed in between the housekeeping service. Guest who stay with us a week will not see a housekeeper..apt will be made up and clean when you check-in after a week you will see a housekeeper again to make up bed, clean apt etc...There are all kinds of dishes, pots and pans, utensils and even muffin tins available for guests to use. I live here myself a few times a year so everything works and you will not be disappointed! Upgraded high speed fiber internet(100meg) and a new 43" LG Smart T.V make my apt very comfortable and a lot like home. Once you have your food and beverages you are pretty much set to enjoy paradise and easy living!..The water is safe to drink out of the tap and we also have a britta jug here for drinking water. This is a private gated community but guests who stay here have access to everything on the property..2 beaches, the newly renovated pool, new tennis and pickleball court(2 rackets and balls in apt)..there is a buoyed off area for snorkeling(bring your own equipment). ..How about a float on the ocean all the way from our rock pools in Pirates Cove to our main beach?....guests have access to the 7 mile beach through Hedonism right beside us for a romantic beach walk..;)...the apt has a set of Bocci balls there's lots of lawn to play on in front or back and a volleyball or frisbee in case you want to play on the beach!....Your time will go too fast here is all I know!..P.S..There is a fruit and veg truck that comes at least once a week to the Point..2x in busy season. Every Monday or Friday guests can get fresh fruit and vegetables from the truck vendors that come for people at Point often prices are better than Hilo.... as fresh as it gets to make a salad or banana drink in a blender. Granville is a local contact and Patsy, Avis or Charlyn the housekeepers in Negril we can provide guests a personal check-in so there are no problems when you arrive. If you haven't stayed with us before we would like your holiday to get off to a good start..We have seen other guests arrive at Point not knowing where to find an apartment, no key to open door and unclean apartments when they do check in. This is a 14 acre property and I believe it is important to have a contact here so your holiday begins with no stress and a nice welcome to Jamaica. If you choose to stay with us you won't be lost at the beginning of your holiday trying to find where you are staying if you haven't been here before. We have a keyless door lock and guests receive their own personal code at check-in. If you have not stayed with us before we will show you the apartment and where things are like the wifi password, etc , etc. We provide guests with a cell phone to use. The best private beach in Negril is right here. No hassles either! Although between two big all inclusives the apt is located on a quiet piece of the property. A convenience store and craft market are a short walk away..Here you will find some local food and items you may need on short notice. Personally I don't drive here myself. Getting around is easy. Walk or take a taxi..A private taxi will come in and pick you up right beside the apt...round trip to downtown and back..make a few stops is around 2500-3000 js depending on how long you take?...Time and having taxi wait and more places you stop costs more money which is normal..this is what most licensed taxis charge for a personal trip....Route taxis run up and down the beach road and for 200 J /pp and take you anywhere you want to go along the road pay when you get near your stop and tell driver 15 seconds in advance..;)..He drops yopu off and continues on the route...You can go as far as transfer station downtown(bus stop)..or the plaza where there are groceries at a Chinese owned store, Valuemaster same as Hilo..a Burger King, Little Ceasars Pizza, Popeyes..Pharmacy..ganja dispensary etc..a lady in a yellow van selling fruit n veg very reasonable shop local!!!.,At plaza you can go up to the cliffs and the West end is another Route taxi..(200jspp) Route taxis are much like buses in North America but there are no free transfers when you change taxis to go on another leg...and you travel with a car or van full of ppl sometimes....Jamaican form of public transportation the cheapest way to get around by far....... Another thing to note is although there is no Uber here almost everyone who has a car is an Uber driver or unlicensed taxi, and you can get them for 1/2 price compared to a private taxi..or not..basically they will try to get the most $ they can from you.... Although most of the time safe why would you want to risk going in an unlicensed taxi in Jamaica? These drivers can be undesirable and unreliable. Route taxis have red plates and run up and down the road 24 hrs a day. I'd recommend route taxis or a licensed operator that is insured. Use the guest phone and call for pick-up from one of many places like Ricks cafe, Margaritavilles, or restaurants like Kuyabi. Seastar has a buffet and show on Saturday night and has a pick-up as well..you can find many things to do here besides just soaking up the sun! IMPORTANT The apartment is no smoking. No cigarettes, no cigars... I am a cancer survivor we don't care about a broken dish or cup but smoking will not be tolerated as the smell in furniture makes me sick. Thanks for understanding in advance. We have no hidden charges like a cleaning fee or taxes in our rate. Apartment will be clean when you check in. After check-in maid service is included every 7 days or at the midpoint for guests staying a week or more. Guests who stay a week or less will not see the maid but additional services can be arranged at anytime for $25/day plus laundry expenses. Airport transfers are available for guests who stay with us for $80USD one way which includes a stop for groceries on arrival with Rocky's taxi..This my recommendation for airport transfer they will help you carry luggage and supplies to our top floor apartment. You can book Rocky's taxi online also and they are very reliable as you exit the airport to the right they will be holding a sign and you'll soon be here... One spiral staircase and up another level and you are ready to get settled in and enjoy the views and sound of the ocean while you relax on your holiday! The rate is also the same year round..
