All our cabanas have a private deck overlooking the water, private bathrooms and rainwater showers. This is cabana for a single person, couple or couple with a small child. Guest have access to our dining area, outside dining , and rental services (kayaks, SUP, snorkel, and diving services). We have a Manager available 24/7 during your stay at Tobacco Caye Paradise Our staff will be available on-site to check-in, prepare meals, and assist with anything needed during your stay Tobacco Caye is located in the middle of the Belize Barrier Reef at the northern edge of the South Water Caye Marine Reserve. This palm fringed five-acre islet is part of the South Water Caye Marine Reserve, a 17,878-acre offshore wonderland for divers, snorkelers, and kayakers. With a year-round population of only 30 and no televisions, public telephones, the island is the perfect place to relax in a hammock and unplug from your busy life back home. Tobacco Caye is approximately thirty minutes offshore from the town of Dangriga in central Belize. Access is by boat, and water taxi service is available from Dangriga and Hopkins. Transportation can be arranged in advance by request. There are no restaurants on the island. While there are no electric or water utilities on the island, we collect our own rainwater and generate our own electricity from solar power (only use a generator when absolutely necessary). Please note we do not produce enough energy to provide Air Conditioned or hot showers. Tobacco Caye is located in the Southwater Marine Reserve - Park rangers will collect a $5 fee per person per night during your stay (up to $15). Park fee is payable by cash and is not included in your booking.
