All the amenities you’ll need are here for your enjoyment, a desk to work at, high-speed internet, and large LED flat screen T.V. We have Netflix's installed for your TV and movie enjoyment all with a cozy ocean view deck to enjoy a glass of wine or just relax. The dining table is suited for 2 people but will accommodate 4 with two stools which are provided. There is an additional charge of $10.00 for each night for over 2 guests. The floor plan is open with maple hardwood floors throughout and vaulted ceilings. You’ll find a large full bath nicely appointed with custom cabinets and Corian countertops, a tub if you enjoy a soak, or a shower if you prefer. An iron, ironing board, and hairdryer are provided along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The full-size kitchen also boasts custom counters and shaker-style cabinets with a stackable washer and dryer. There is also a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and Vita-mix blender. You will find dishes, drinking glasses, wine glasses, utensils, pots, and pans in the cupboards for your use while cooking during your visit. We provide tea, coffee, cream, and sugar, stevia, and honey. mustard, ketchup, mayo, and basic seasonings. The studio has a new queen size bed that is suited for a couple, the living area has a love seat that also opens up into a twin sleeper bed, which is the same as a single-size bed. We also can provide an inflatable single third bed called an EZ bed, for a guest when extra accommodation is required. Mahogany encased crank windows show the beautiful sunset views and let the ocean breeze in. If the breeze isn’t enough there is a ceiling fan or if you're a bit chilly the studio is equipped with a separate forced air unit. There are 2 skylights to let in plenty of natural light during the day. Check-In 3:00 PM Check Out 10:00 AM Because of allergies, we have a no-pet policy Although the Vacation Rental is attached to our home it is completely private. It has its own entrance with a flight of stairs that will lead you to the front door porch (please take note of this if you have a small child). It has its own full-size kitchen and bath along with a living and sleeping area. Also included is a small west-facing deck with a table and chairs to enjoy the wonderful sunsets in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning while you enjoy the ocean view. There is a designated parking spot on the property which is on the far north side of the driveway, and ample street parking. The entrance is equipped with motion detector lights to make your entryway safe in the evening. You will have 24 hr. access with a combination lock box so you can arrive at your convenience anytime after 3:00 PM. Trash containers are on the north side of the property behind the fence. Please place your garbage in the designated container. We have installed a noise detector to make us aware when someone is entering or leaving the studio. This device is located on the stairs. If we are home and if you would like, let us know when you arrive so we can do a walk-through with you and answer any questions. After our initial meeting if you have questions or concerns we are only a phone call away. We are in a quiet neighborhood, Cardiff town center is a couple of minutes away. The location is excellent so close to everything you could possibly want the ocean, restaurants, hiking, freeway exit, shopping, and local attractions. Del Mar race track and La Costa spa are just a 10-minute drive away. It is close to multiple hiking trails and some of the best bicycling in California. It is a half hour drive to the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World and famous old town San Diego. Our local beaches are world renowned, Cardiff state beach, Swami's and Moonlight Beach to name a few. Torrey Pines Golf Course is only a 5-mile drive south or Encinitas Ranch and La Costa Golf course are both within a 5-mile drive to the north. Getting out and enjoying the area is essential. There are many sites to see in our local area, everything from the warm beaches to the quail botanical gardens. We recommend getting a rental car or using Uber to get around if you do not have your own transportation. The train (Coaster) is also a great way to get to other areas further way like down town San Diego or Petco Park. There is a 10%Transient tax for the guest that is required by the city of Encinitas for any bookings under 30 days, this tax is only on the nights booked, it does not include fees or cleaning. This cost is owed separately from Airbnb. The tax can be paid when you arrive.
