Beach access is a 15 minute walk down a lovely gorge to an un-spoilt cove or a 10 minute drive to the long crescent beach in the photos. Pool belongs to the neighbor's private resort complex and not part of the rental, but the views are all ours! Our house feels like a tree-top retreat. Our local property manager (a Chilean who speaks fluent English) lives in Algarrobo and will make sure you get access to the house and that you have an enjoyable stay in our home. Algarrobo, which is 10 minutes down the hill, is a bustling beach community with lots of restaurant options. Mirasol's charm is in its lack of commercial developments and unpaved roads. The local community center has weekend amateur concerts and art exhibits. There is a cluster of stores (fruit vendor, grocery store, pizzeria), just before entering Mirasol where you can get last minute provisions. Public transportation is available, including taxis, shared taxis (colectivos), and municipal buses, which run frequently to Algarrobo, San Antonio, Santiago, and Valparaiso. Pullman and Tur-Bus have daily bus routes to and from Algarrobo to San Antonio, Valparaiso, and Santiago. Free dedicated wireless Internet access.
