My house/home is peaceful, private and offers homely environment. It is fully furnished, with hot water and air-conditioning, self-contained in a secured and fully fenced compound. It is located within a village community neighbourhood. Can accommodate up to six guests. It is a three-bedroom concrete house fully furnished. There is one bathroom and a toilet, and an open plan kitchen and dining area and a living area. There is a covered parking space and designated areas for parking around the house. It Has a washing machine and available also 5 minutes from the house is a laundromat. The guests (up to 5) will use the entire house including the kitchen, dining and living areas at rate of NZ$210 per nite. However, the house is also available for rent per guest/per room/per nite with sharing of the kitchen, dining and living areas at rate of NZ$90 per first two guests and additional guests at rate of NZ$ 40 per nite based on approved and paid number of guests. Bed sheets and towels are supplied from date of check in for guests staying more than one week. An initial supply of basic bathroom necessities (soap, shampoo/conditioner) along with coffee and tea will be provided to help to get guest started. The compound is gated for security. Ensure families and friends of the guests behave and respect privacy of other guests/tenants in the compound and neighbours. Wireless internet is expensive in Samoa. For cheaper option it’s better to buy data using mobile phones or wireless routers to connect during your stay. The home offers and contains cooking facilities, a gas stove, a fridge, hot water, air-conditioning, ceiling and standing fans and other amenities such as beds and mattresses, dining table and chairs, lounge suites, patio table and chairs and kitchen utensils, pots and plates. A detailed list of appliances and utensils will be provided. I will be happy to answer any questions guests may have on this listing. In addition, I will be available to check in the guests on arrival and at check out at the rental house. For long term stay of more than one week, will supply weekly change of bed sheets, bath and tea towels, table cloths, bath and toilet mats and check the house during and before the guests leave. The house is within a secured compound that is surrounded by helpful neighbours. The neighbourhood is a village community with three church denominations. I live just few yards away from the rental house and can be reached for any assistance during the guests stay at reasonable hours. I am happy to facilitate and assist the guests with making bookings for transfers (pick up and drop off) from/to Faleolo and Fagalii International airports by shuttle or taxi via preferred service providers. We recommend hiring a rental vehicle to see the island and to get around. If you truly want to see and experience Samoa through our local people, we have experienced cultural hosts who will take you on informative and in-depth cultural tours around the islands at a reasonable charge. If you want to experience our colourful local buses, you can stop a bus anywhere on the side of the road. Our local bus drivers rule the roads and they stop anywhere you want to go as long as it's on the route. The taxi company that is closer is about 5 minutes away. The bus stop outside the compound gate. Sim cards and phone credit can be purchased at the airport on arrival or at Bluesky or Digicel outlets in town. Credit top ups can be purchased at most retail shops closer to the house. The ferry takes you to Savaii Island (highly recommended) or Manono and there are many restaurants, beach houses etc which we will be pleased to provide you with information on. The guests must ensure the main gate to the house compound and grounds is closed and securely locked at all times for security reasons and lock all external doors and the gate when guests leave the property. The owner will not be responsible for any lost items during occupancy of the house. Please let us know if you would like anything pre-arranged prior to your arrival. The house operates on 'cash-power' which is a pre-paid system. We have allowed for approximately 10 units of electricity to be supplied per day (which will be pre-loaded prior to your arrival). Depending on your usage, you may be required to purchase extra electricity units. Our water resources on the islands is precious and we ask our Guests to be mindful in turning off the taps properly and conserve water. The water is metered at the house. Sometimes the local water company switch off when the water supply from the tap during heavy rains to avoid getting brown water supply. Do not panic, it will be switched back on once the rain stops. However, if you need to use water during this period, use the water pump to get water from the water tank next to the house. Sometimes the local electricity company has power outages that happen suddenly. Don't panic...the power will eventually come back on.
