!!COVID INSPECTED, CERTIFIED & OPEN!! Agave Landings are affordable, one and two bedroom apartments and a studio cottage less than 165 yards from one of Antigua's best beaches. Located on Antigua’s Southwest coast, they are within minutes of a variety of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment facilities; while allowing easy access to St. Johns, Betty's Hope, English Harbour, and other sites; and providing a relaxing retreat to end your day with beautiful sunsets and star-filled skies. Agave Landings was recently inspected by the Government of Antigua to ensure proper COVID cleaning and response protocols are in place and approved to operate. Our one bedroom apartments are quite roomy with a nice covered balcony, and lots of windows looking out to the ocean with views to the surrounding islands of St. Kitt's and Nevis, Redonda, and the Five Islands chain of islands. You can also see Montserrat from the beach. The walk to the beach is about 2-3 minutes. You are looking at the ocean while you are walking towards it. We have chairs and a beach umbrella that you can take with you to the beach inside the apartment. There is a BBQ Grill for all the guests to use. The apartments have a stackable washer/dryer inside the apartment. It has a queen sized bed, bathroom and full sized shower, a dining area, and sitting area. We have FREE Wi-Fi internet service. We provide you with all linens including beach towels, and all kitchen utensils. We also have back-up generator power should the electricity go out. There is also an outdoor table and chairs for dining or just taking in the view. You only have to shop for groceries and unpack!!! Kitchens are fully equipped with a toaster, blender, coffee maker, microwave, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is air conditioning in each room and window screens, ceiling fans, and tile floors throughout with 110 volt electricity. There is also a flat screen TV, stereo/CD player, iron/ironing board, and hair dryer. Our property is gated. Guests are given a gate code and remote access device which can be used in their rental vehicles. Once on the property you have access to the entire property including the paved parking, outdoor shower, BBQ Grill, and garden areas. Our property management team is available to our guests 24 hours. Guests are provided with contact numbers including a cell phone which is assigned to a team member at all times. They can ask questions about the facility, book tours, rental cars, or taxis through them during office hours and can call after hours if there is an emergency. We are uniquely and ideally located on the scenic south west coast away from the main road on Ffreye's Bay. We are on a gently sloping hillside overlooking two beaches, surrounded by hills, and with views to the islands of Montserrat, Redonda, St. Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla, and the Five Islands Chain in the distance. Especially on a clear day. The bus stop at the main road is a quick five minute walk. The buses run frequently in the morning and afternoon. There are rental car agencies within a mile and they also deliver directly to the property. Taxis can be called as needed and usually arrive within 15 minutes or less. The Number 22 Bus runs from the village of Old Road along Valley Road from the South part of the Island past Agave Landings and Jolly Harbour into St. John's West Bus Station and back. To take this bus to Jolly Harbour or into St. John's, leave Agave Landings, walk out to the main road (Valley Road), and stand near the road. As a bus/van approaches, put out or wave your hand to indicate that you wish them to stop. Buses have a yellow license plate that starts with the letters "B U S" and are normally Toyota or Nissan passenger vans operated by private individuals.  Most have the bus number on the windshield. You should pay the driver on your departure from the bus. Standard fare for a one-way trip to St. Johns (subject to change) is currently ECD 3.00 for adults and ECD 2.25 for children 2-13 years old. We provide each guest with a courtesy cell phone with a limited amount of usage minutes which they top up if they wish to continue using it. We are within walking distance of three restaurants/bars. More are within a one mile radius in either direction.
