I may drop by at some point to introduce myself but Angeles is there to make sure you have a wonderful stay. 2 minutes walk to Alameda/Centro, 5 min to Plaza Zaragosa. Everything is within easy walking distance. Park your car in the garage and walk to all locations. You are staying in a traditional Mexican neighborhood with lots of foot traffic. People shop every day for fruits and vegetables; walk to the millers to grind corn for their tortillas; buy fresh rolls from their local tienda and walk children to school. The area is alive with basic living and is also full of history. Old adobe buildings, chickens, goats, and horses are part of your surroundings. You can walk to the old mines and historic sites that date as far back as the 1500's. The official address is Calle Morelos 17b, Mineral de Pozos, 37915, between Calle Condesa and Calle Guerrero. Look for the white house with a black entrance door and a black garage door. 17b is painted in white on the front of the house. The house offers sleeping for 5 with 1 queen bed in the bedroom, 1 sofa bed and a blow-up mattress in the living room. You can walk to the central district in 5 minutes and almost everywhere within an hour or less but there are also taxis, bikes to be rented, and buses. A private driver can be arranged at a very reasonable price. Walking is safe here and is a great way to explore your surroundings and meet your neighbors. Walking in Pozos is the best way to get to most places. You can easily get from one side of town to the other within an hour. Additionally there is bus transportation, taxi service, and private drivers for hire. Bicycles are also a possibility but, when combined with cobblestone streets and narrow roads (often without shoulders or sidewalks) riding a bike takes a strong adventurer; however there are many paths in the hills around town for mountain biking.
