There are huge mahogany windows everywhere you turn, in fact, great walls of glass that naturally welcome the outdoors in. The view from each room is a masterpiece of nature. It's a great place for distance working & schooling, with ample table space & laptop portable desks available. Bring together friends and family over cocktails and watch the sun set, enjoying the expansive marsh & harbor views from the comfortable seating areas on the large deck or spacious living room. Treasure Island is a gated, tree lined street with resident access only. Guests will feel like they have escaped to their own private estate. Stella Maris is the perfect place to relax, explore nature and spend time together. It is also close to quaint Scituate Harbor and surrounding seaside towns for shopping, meals & entertainment. The train to Boston is 5 minutes away. While the floor plan of the house is perfect for sharing meals and time together, it also offers quiet nooks for solitude. The house accommodates 12 people comfortably. The newly remodeled kitchen is perfect for group cooking and socializing. The gas grill makes cookouts a breeze. Stella Maris at The Salt Marshes of Treasure Island has fast wifi, air conditioning, ample parking and large, flat screen TV's. Please note that due to the Coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We are also scheduling 24 hours between reservations to allow extra time for ventilation and additional cleaning. Stella Maris is one of a trio of homes we have available. Stella Serena, across the street is a 3/2 cottage that sleeps 6 and has incredible views of the marsh and harbor. Stella Sorelle is a 2/1 that sleeps 4 and is located in the center of the island. The entire house is available, including the storage shed in the back yard, where you will find bikes, a beach wagon, beach chairs, kayak paddles, life vests & corn hole. Kayaks & paddleboards are available near the waterway access. The kitchen is fully equipped . Stella Maris is located on a private street with restricted access for residents only. The ferry to Boston runs from nearby Hingham, the train stops in North Scituate, 5 mintutes away. The subway can be caught in Quincy or Braintree. There is easy access to Logan Airport by train, subway, car or ferry. Air conditioning cools 5 of the bedrooms, and the gathering areas are also cooled. Screened windows and sliding glass doors capture the sea breezes beautifully.
