A one-bedroom carriage house apartment in a newly constructed lowcountry cottage located in the beautiful Stock Farm neighborhood of Historic Old Town Bluffton within walking distance of the many restaurants, galleries, shops and historic buildings this charming town has to offer. Comfortable, cozy and tastefully decorated, "The Bluffton Bird House" features new kitchen appliances, a full-size stacked LG washer and dryer and all the amenities necessary to guarantee a comfortable, enjoyable stay. "The Bird House" is located in Stock Farm, arguably Old Town's premier neighborhood. It is close enough to walk to all amenities, but nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood of newer, lovely lowcountry cottages each with its own distinctive style. We offer WiFi streaming TV using the YouTube TV platform offering over 50 channels of entertainment, sports and news as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime. The apartment space of about 400 SQ ft and all appliances and washer/dryer are all yours to use. Although we own the driveway, we have given our neighbors to our left use of it through an easement. You may use the driveway to unload and load your luggage only. The 1st parking space in front of the house to the right of the drive is reserved for your exclusive use. Our Bluffton Story: Leslie and I first visited Bluffton in September of 2015 and immediately fell in love with its small-town charm, active, vibrant restaurant, bar and music scene, and its friendly residents. A year later, we came back with the intention of buying a home within The Historic District of “Old Town Bluffton”. There was very little on the market at that time, and so we made the momentous decision to buy a lot in Stock Farm and to build a home. In July 2017 we moved from Reston, VA to Bluffton into a rental in Rose Hill Plantation, so that we could be actively involved in and supervise the construction. The project was finally completed, and we moved into our new home on September 17th, 2018. Although there were many challenges, we enjoyed the creative aspect of the process and love our beautiful new home in Bluffton, “The Heart of the Low Country”.
