The town is flourishing with unique little shops, a brewery, a distillery, a "hard cidery," & restaurants & ice cream shops galore. Central Park is a half-block away with swings, slides, a new gaga pit, a new zip line, open fields, tennis courts, sidewalks for scooters, skates & bikes. Free evening concerts on Saturday evenings in summer. (BYOB and some of our beach chairs, or buy drinks & food from the trucks.) We provide tennis racquets & balls (& a gaga-pit ball) besides tons of books, puzzles, games & toys for rainy days. This home is designed for rest & relaxation for responsible adults and their children, and thus unsuitable for partiers, surfers, adventure-seekers or adrenaline junkies. The common areas are bright and fit everyone around the table or in the living room. Most bedrooms have seating to enjoy quiet time and solitude. Please respect our NO PETS policy due to other guests' allergies! We strongly recommend you reserve your golf cart(s) early from Eastern Shore Custom Carts or CC Ryder here in town, since they have limited numbers. They are ideal for hauling sandy kids & gear to the beach & back, and just fun to ride around town in. Your kids will thank you! (We provide bungie cords for putting our stand-up paddle board on top) 1. Please, please, please do not bring your pet! If you do (and we will find out!) you will be required to leave immediately without a refund and be charged an extra $750 cleaning fee for Servpro to come in and purge pet oils and dander from all surfaces! Don't do it! 2. We stay in the studio at the back of the property. Our windows face away from the house to give you complete privacy and the full use of the back yard. (See photos) We go and come via a walkway on the far side of the house. We will leave you alone except for the occasional wave and to check our mail on the porch, but are available by cell if there are any problems you need help with. Mason Street 4 blocks away has a delightful blend of great shops and restaurants for perusing when you're not at the beach. The public tennis courts and playground are a half-block walk from the house. Horseback riding, kayak rentals, wineries, casual & fine dining are all nearby. There are free concerts in the park every Saturday night during the summer - bring some of our beach chairs and BYOB or buy snacks & drinks from the food trucks while the kids play on the playground.
