Cantamar is just a short 45 minute drive from the U.S. border on the beautiful Tijuana-Ensenada scenic toll road. Just get off on the Cantamar exit and you are there. 15 minutes south of Rosarito and 45 north of Ensenada in a very quiet relaxing beach community. Just far enough away from the noise and congestion of these popular tourist towns but close enough for an exciting days adventure to either of them, including the famous wine testing venues at Valley de Guadalupe. Visit these places by day then come back home to relax in a quiet comfortable spacious safe home by night. The first floor boasts a beautiful living room with a breakfast bar that opens into the kitchen that is complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave and many other appliances. Just bring your own food to prepare as our home comes with a complete kitchen with everything for you to prepare your meals. In the kitchen there is also a Log Burning Stove for those chilly nights. On the 2nd floor there is the Master bedroom which has such an amazing view of the ocean and comes complete with it's own private romanic balcony where you can sit with that special someone and enjoy the amazing sunsets. You might want to just relax in the water jet massage bathtub located in the master bathroom. Just in case you want to enjoy a movie before bed the room also comes equipped with a flat screen tv. and d.v.d. player with surround sound. There are two more bedrooms on the 2nd floor making a total of three. One room has a comfortable Queen size bed while the other has a comfortable Double size bed. One room is equipped with a tv. and dvd player. Of course nothing would complete this beach house better for the family than a entertainment room on the 3rd floor that comes complete with a large Sony flat screen tv. and dvd player (with surround sound) and foose ball table. There you will find 2 comfortable reclining couches for viewing the movies you bring with you. Also there is a bow flex full body work out machine so that you won't have to miss a workout while staying here. A huge hit with all of our guests is the large 3rd floor open patio that has an amazing ocean view as well. Guests love to use the new BBQ island to cook a family meal while enjoying the ocean view. The deck come complete with a patio table, six comfortable chairs the convert into lounge chairs and a large umbrella for shade. Just follow the stairs up to the 4th floor sun deck that has an amazing 360o view where you will find two singles and one large double lounge chair where you can sun bathe by day or enjoy the stars by night. Truthfully for the price it will be very hard to find a place that matches this for all it offers: security, space, quit comfort, amazing ocean view from various rooms and decks. At this time we have hosted over 60 guests and have not had one dissatisfied guest as you can see in the reviews. Canta Mar is located right next to Primo Tapia which has plenty of small local shopping stores stores, authentic curios shops, and plenty of places to eat out locally. Also there is a new gas station right new store (walking distance - less than a 100 yards away) which includes a well stocked store with has almost anything you might need. If you are a group of people coming to Mexico to party wildly we would ask that you please look for another place. You will feel very safe as you see the guards walking up and down the streets day and night. Cantamar is located in a quaint community called PrimoTapia. It is very safe to walk around the community. In the community you will find many rustic but authentic places to eat, a gas station, a few mini markets (one well stocked right next to our house which includes a Subway), panaderia (bakery) where they sell fresh authentic Mexican sweet bread. Take a walk and look around you might find something that interests you. There are taxis that travel back and forth to Rosarito, just ask the guards and they will call one for you.
