It's time for a beachy getaway! Don't let the reasonable price fool you. This is a full sized house with everything you need for your beach vacation. We just want people to come & enjoy our home by the sea! Our area is NOT crowded-it offers an "Old Florida" feel, laid back, lots of open area, and unspoiled beaches, as well as great places to eat & visit. Our house is a beach cottage with everything you need for a comfortable beach vacation or home away from home. Comfortable and convenient, tranquil and pleasing, you will enjoy every moment at "Somewhere Beyond the Sea". PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LARGE MAIN BEDROOM WITH ENSUITE BATH IS LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR. There is another bedroom in the main part of the house on the 1st floor that has two twin beds, extra towel, blankets, some workout gear, etc. It opens by pocket door into the bathroom with tub/shower and essentials. We hope you enjoy the attention to detail that helps to make your vacation fun. The entire house is yours to enjoy. On the other side of the delightful breezeway is a bonus third bedroom and half bath and also access to the garage which houses all the beach gear. You will be supplied with paper products and other essentials when you arrive. Feel free to use. We only ask that, if something gets used up, please replace. I am not available in person but am always very easy to contact by phone for any questions or issues A perfect getaway in a beautiful, unspoiled area of the Eastern seaboard of Florida. We simply love Ormond by the Sea and, in fact, our little subdivision of 3 streets is actually called Avalon by the Sea. It is peaceful and lovely, a simple beach life not sullied by loud bars and boardwalk noises. Our cottage is 300 yards from the ocean and 200 yards from the river and, in the quiet evenings, you can hear the ocean crashing onto the shore as you sit and relax in the breezeway. The beaches in Ormond by the Sea are not guarded but a little further south they are. You will find many great restaurants within a short drive and one of our favorites, Lagerheads, is right at the top of our street! But do try downtown Ormond for some really special places. It is easy to drive and park almost anywhere in the area. The Votran bus does pick up on Marlin (one street over) on A1A Remember that the large master with bath is on the second floor so, if you use that room, you will need to be able to climb stairs. We allow ONE well behaved dog. Do not let your fur baby defecate in the yard as it attracts other dogs who may be off leash to the yard. There are numerous places to walk your pup.
