The space is filled with objects we love and our photographic art. All of the home is accessible, except for a few cabinets and closets that are reserved for the owners personal items. We are available by email, phone or text for questions. There is always someone available who can assist in person with anything urgent. The house is located less than a mile from the White House, and just a bit more to the National Mall with all of its attractions. For guests convenience, a Whole Foods market is just two blocks away, and the 14th street corridor, with numerous trendy bars, restaurants, and shops, is just a few steps out the door. We love the coffee bar Slipstream for morning coffee just around the corner. You can walk to many attractions! There are 3 metro stations within walking distance. The closest is McPherson Square-- but Dupont Circle and several others are also walkable. Lyfts and Ubers are almost always a couple of minutes away. Several bus stops within a block or two. Residents parking permit on request with supplemental deposit. Nearby garage parking available at supplemental cost. We have a pack 'n play, booster seat, high chair and some books and toys for visitors with small children. There are also three TVs with direct TV satellite for recording/playback. Double check with us if you plan to use the kids' stuff. There is a webcam in the exterior foyer, pointing toward the street. We use this to ensure everyones' safety, and to know when our cleaners and laundry arrive and depart. The camera points outward, and only covers an area that is also clearly accessible to anyone on the street.
