A scenic 15-minute drive from both downtown Asheville and Black Mountain, this home is the perfect peaceful getaway. You won't be disappointed by the gorgeous decor and comfort of this home. It is fully stocked with kitchen supplies like; a kitchen aid mixer, stovetop smoker, and food processor, as well as fun games like; spy alley, cards against humanity and corn hole. The house has two living rooms and 3 porches on different levels for taking in the views! It features two bedrooms with king size beds and private baths. The third bedroom is a 250 sqft private in-law suite located above the garage with a king size bed, full closet, ensuite bathroom and mini kitchenette. Please note from the pictures that the in law suite is decorated in a different style as the rest of the house. The bathroom is also rather small. The property is surrounded by trees which creates a treehouse feel and gives you complete privacy. The neighborhood is very quiet and there is hardly any light pollution, so it's a perfect place for stargazing. An open kitchen-living room makes for a large gathering place (living room 1). A cozy downstairs movie/ bourbon room is perfect for movie nights (living room 2). Three porches skirt the back of the house and face the beautiful valley. A garden patio nook serves as another dining option surrounded by twinkle lights and plants. A 4 person hot tub sits on the lower porch and makes for a romantic sunset spot. A full kitchen and outdoor grill will serve your cooking needs, and a wood burning stove is available for your use. There is a full house dual water filtration system so you can drink from any sink. 2 car garage attached to the house. Keurig coffee provided for the mornings. A full house manual with details about hiking trails, food and drink recommendations and other fun things to do is waiting for you at the house when you arrive. We are available when needed, but give guests space. We are available for questions during your stay. The quickest way to get in touch with us is through the app. Overlooking a valley filled with green pastures, winding brooks, cows, sheep and the occasional wild turkey, this neighborhood offers ample options for exploration. Enjoy a stroll up the hill, or venture further on one of the many accessible hikes surrounding the valley. For urban-based fun, explore Asheville's breweries and renowned restaurants. Enjoy one of Asheville's many downtown festivals and free concerts, or visit the eclectic art galleries scattered across town. Downtown Asheville and Black Mountain are a 15 minute drive away. An Uber ride to either town will typically cost $10-15. Uber rides are highly available and easy to get, typically with a 10 minute wait time after you put in your request. The Biltmore estate is 20 minutes away. The airport is 40 minutes away. If you bring a car, please park it in the garage at all times during your stay. Please note that this home is located on top of a very steep hill (which is what gives it such a fantastic view). It is easily drivable with a regular car, it just surprises people when they drive it the first time. Also be aware this is a 3 story home, so stairs are used to access each level. The stairs are steep, so please keep them in mind when making your reservation. All bedrooms require stairs for access. Lastly, please understand that if there is any snow or ice on the road during the winter, the house is not accessible. We generally get 3-4 snow/ice days per year, and if it happens during your reservation, we may need to delay or cancel for safety purposes. Thanks for understanding!
