Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is a multi-unit property with separate rooms. Each room has its own entrance and is private from the other rooms. The hot tub is outdoors and is shared with other guests. As you pull up to this grand cedar style home you are immediately greeted by a beautiful rainforest that feels calming and relaxing. The first room is located to the far right corner of the building. There are a few stairs leading to a small covered patio for you and your guests. This suite is off to the far corner and is very private from the other rooms. As you enter your room you are instantly greeeted by nature with huge glass windows looking out to your very own Hawai'i forest. The room has a memory foam Queen size bed for two and two additional memory foam twin beds for extra guests. The room is equipped with a small kitchen stocked with basic cooking essentials like pots, pans, cooktop, utensils, and a griddle for breakfast in the morning. There is a small coffee bar with a medium-sized fridge and a microwave. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings or have a romantic dinner as you sit at your own private table. The room has its own bathroom with a shower and tub. There is an electric heater to warm you up on those cold Volcano nights. A wall-mounted TV for those that want to relax and watch a movie. The second room is located to the left side of the building right below the stairs. As you enter you have two large windows that look out to the beautiful and native rain forest. Immediately you feel like you are in a tree house or forest retreat, complete tranquility. It is an open concept room with a complete kitchen stocked with cooking essentials such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, cooking burner, microwave, min fridge, toaster oven, and even a griddle for cooking pancakes in the morning. A dinning room table for family dinners while admiring the Hapu'u fern around you. The room has a memory foam queen bed for two, memory foam single bed and sofa bed for extra guests. There is a private bathroom complete with toiletries. A wall mounted TV for those that want to relax and watch a movie. Walk down the gravel pathway surrounded by native Ohi'a trees and Hapu'u plants hovering over you like an umbrella of nature. Enjoy a dip in the hot tub after a long day of exploring. Relax in the bubbling hot water with the cool Volcano mist around you. Visitors come to the Big Island to explore the volcano and beautiful black sand beaches. The Volcano National Park is located about 2 miles down the road. Take a four wheel drive up Mauna Kea and visit the second largest mountain in the world or take a drive down to Waipi'o Valley to take a refreshing dip in the ocean as you visit the Valley of the Kings. Cruise around the island in a day and see what this "Big island" has to offer. **This property is on water catchment which is not suitable for drinking or cooking. Drinking water is provided. The hot tub is located down the rainforest walkway at the back of the property. It is shared with the other guests. Volcano is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that shows the true meaning of Aloha. This neighborhood is excellent for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the fast-pace of the city life. Numerous native trees and plants all around the area. Take advantage of the hiking trails and beautiful scenery at the Volcano National Park located down the road. Or sit back in your room and enjoy the sounds and view of nature around you. To get around you will need to rent a car. This island is the biggest island in our state and there is lots to see and explore. Some places may require a four wheel drive vehicle. We are located on a paved road. One parking stall available per room. No street parking. Volcano has lots of great restaurants like Lava Rock, Thai Thai Bistro & Bar, Tuk-Tuk Thai Foodtruck, and The Rim (located in the National Park). Please note that most restaurants in Volcano are closed on Mondays so you may need to travel to Keaau or Hilo which is about a 30-45 minute commute. There are a few convenient stores in the area for supplies and groceries. Our water source comes from a water catchment so it is not for cooking and drinking. Drinking water is provided. Owner resides on the property in a seperate unit.
