Our Cozy Casita is perfect for a Romantic Getaway or retreat during your stay in Carlsbad! It has a queen-sized bed with en-suite full bathroom, a full-size futon sleeper in the living room, a full kitchen, and a small private patio. With it's central location in Carlsbad, it is perfect for guests who want to visit the Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe National Park, and many other fun activities in Carlsbad and surrounding areas. It's close to the best restaurants in town, and the grocery store! The Cozy Casita is located in the heart of Carlsbad, NM, and will provide the perfect retreat for your stay! This house is a private 1 Bedroom/1 Bath Casita behind the main house which is also rented separately through Airbnb. It has a private entrance through the back alley and its own private off-street parking beside the Casita. It has motion sensor lights for security and added lighting when checking in late at night. This home is located in the center of Carlsbad, NM and it is about 30 minutes from the Carlsbad Caverns, and 60 minutes from the Guadalupe Mountains. The neighborhood is the best of both worlds - quiet, but within minutes of the best restaurants in town and is very close to the grocery store. To access the home, you will use the back alley. The neighbors have dogs which, unfortunately, will bark when you arrive and leave. We provide a noise machine and earplugs, but they usually are quiet if they don't see any activity. At the front entrance, there is a small private patio for your use. Once inside, you'll arrive in the living room equipped with a 42-inch smart TV. The TV is streaming only and has Netflix, Hulu, and other popular apps accessed through the Blu-ray player. The living room has a futon/couch that can sleep an additional adult or two small children. If you are traveling with small children please reach out to us, we can definitely accommodate you. Extra linens and bedding is provided. The kitchen is located off of the living space. The kitchen boasts a dining nook, full-range oven/stove, full fridge, and access to all of the essential cooking accouterments for you to use during your stay. The bedroom is also located off of the living room and features a comfortable queen size bed with a full bathroom inside the room. The Casita has a warm, bohemian vibe. We love pets so please feel free to bring them with you. We allow 1-2 small to medium size pets that are potty trained. There is a small fenced-in patio for your pets to utilize. Quiet neighborhood with street parking. Central location. The perfect balance of being in a quiet neighborhood and being just a few minutes away from the popular Water Park and beach area, as well as grocery stores and shopping. Having a vehicle to get around is highly recommended. Carlsbad Caverns - 35 min drive Guadalupe National Park - 55 min drive Living Desert State Park - 10 min drive Carlsbad Water Park - 5 min drive, 20 min walk The thermostat for the wall heater in the living room is locked for safety. If you need to get it adjusted, please contact the Host. For guests who are light sleepers, we have provided bark control devices around the property, sound machines inside the bedroom and earplugs to help ensure uninterrupted sleep. There is no backyard. This Casita is completely private but is located behind the main house that is rented separately through Airbnb as well. Off-street parking is right beside the property. The property entrance and parking are accessed through the back alley. Sales tax is now an additional charge for every reservation. I am not the owner of the home, I cohost with the property owner. The entire Casita is available for you to use. There is no garage, parking is limited to one vehicle. Although we try our very best to maintain our property to the highest standards possible, the host and property owner have no control over the condition of the back alley as this is maintained by the City and respective homeowners directly in front of the alley.
