A gym, ping pong table and tennis courts onsite. There is a great snorkel spot right down along the lava rocks where you'll see amazing colorful fish! Parking: Open unassigned parking either covered or non covered. We welcome communication and are available by phone, text, message on airbnb platform or email should anything come up during your stay. The Kailua-Kona area is very tropical and quaint. Town is just 1 mile down Alii Drive where you will find many restaurants, shops and historical sites. There is a Farmer's Market with local fruits and more. Or step out the door and walk down the road to the Marketplace--vendors sell unique gifts made in Hawaii, gluten free treats as well as local Kona coffee beans. For a quick coffee or bite, the closest place is Green Flash coffee just 2 complexes over at Sea Village with smoothies, pastries, sandwiches and local Kona coffee. Magic Sands Beach is about a 5 minute drive with a parking lot across the street and bike rentals. It's a 20 minute walk into town. Also, the Kona Trolley (open air) stops out front of resort; $2 per transfer--it runs up and down Alii Drive to town and beaches as well as the shopping centers--a fun way to get around! Bicycle rentals across the street. Having a rental car is best as there are many places you'll want to explore on the Big Island. Free open parking at Kona Makai complex. If heading to town, there is plenty of free parking as well - one lot is across from Huggo's Restaurant.
