We are located less than a mile to downtown, that's approximately 10-15 minutes walking distance. The apartment: You have your own private bedroom on the third floor. There is full bathroom on the 2nd floor and half bathroom on 1st floor. The house is 2,100 square feet, has 1 balconies and back patio area with with a propane gas fireplace, sitting area and a hot tub. We try to keep the house and property clean and expect our guests to do the same. The house was built in the 1890's. We basically renovated the house with an aesthetic that merges traditional colonial with a more modern yet classic feel. The kitchen has all new appliances and there is central AC on the 1st floor and 2nd floor. Your Room: Your room is approximately 14X 14. It has a queen size bed with a closet, a full size dresser, a desk amd a night stand. We have installed a box AC in the room that easily keeps it cool. In the cold season, the room has ab electric wall heater and we provide a and portable heating element to get the initial chill off. The system is controlled separate from the rest of the house. Private bedroom; shared bathroom; access to laundry area, washer,dryer, steamer and Iron, wireless internet, all kitchen appliances including coffee maker. Patio is available for your use. Actually, we are quite flexible and happy to share almost anything in the house, within reason. I have never used the public transportation but we are near the bus route, Harrisburg also has quick cab service to include Uber.
