Private, freshly renovated completely separate suite of 110 year old house perched atop of the hill. Peek-a-boo views of the Fraser River and epic sunsets. There is a wild and lush backyard, with seating, along with a small private side deck to chill and have a beer from the local brewery Steel and Oak (a complimentary beer provided). My partner, toddler, baby and I live upstairs with our cat. Meticulously and obsessively designed and furnished by me. This is a 1 bedroom suite with a spacious living room. It has been fully renovated and is simple clean and modern with some beautiful vintage touches. Heated bathroom floors, massive window looking out at the sunsets. Please note, there are steps down to the suite, as well as a single step inside the suite. The entire lower suite is yours. Feel free to hang out in the back yard too! I live upstairs and will most likely just see you to let you in. I would be happy to give you suggestions of places in the city, especially vegan options! Such a great little community. You are on the edge of downtown New West - a quick 10 minute walk down, 15 minute walk home (it's uphill). 2 blocks away from the famous brewery Steel and Oak. You can also walk a few blocks down the street and stroll along the river boardwalk and make your way to the River Market or Pier Park. From Airport - skytrain. And then either walk or taxi to the house. General getting around - I walk everywhere in New West, and the skytrain is walking distance so it's easy to get anywhere the skytrain goes in the lower mainland. I try to support and promote local. From New West you will find artisan tea from Great Wall Tea, coffee from Ghost Roasters, and beer from Steel and Oak. In addition we have partnered with Saltspring Soapworks to bring you super zen natural bath products. Note: The house is old so there is some noise transfer, please try and keep the noise down after 10pm, as will we :) note I have a toddler and baby upstairs.
