Welcome to Sweet Mountain Retreat, a luxury log cabin, which finished construction in Dec. 2018. The cabin is a stunning 3 bedroom, 3 full and 2 half bathroom mountain lodge with space for 12 and an impressive list of amenities. Modeled after the picturesque Moulton Barn in Grand Teton National Park, this cabin has a loft and the open feel of a barn, barnwood ceilings and farmhouse furnishings. You will be amazed at the magnificent views of the Smoky Mountains from this large 2 1/2 story cabin! After taking in the incredible views from the hot tub outside as well as the two-story great room inside, you can enjoy your favorite movie in the cabin’s own theater room that comfortably seats 9 people in reclining theater seats. Following a lively evening of ping pong or pool, or just hanging out with family and friends in the rockers on the deck, you can relax in one of the cabin’s two private king master bedrooms (on opposite ends of the main floor) that each have their own tub, shower, double vanity, flat screen TV, and doors that open to a view of the mountains. Kids and kids at heart love the bunk room (on the lower level along with the game room and theater room) with two sets of bunk beds - one queen and one twin - and an Xbox One. Sweet Mountain Retreat has a dedicated housekeeping crew that cleans and maintains it to high standards (most cabin rentals are serviced by rotating crews who clean many cabins per day). Many previous guests have described this cabin as very clean. We have two full sets of luxurious sheets and towels for this cabin that are meticulously cleaned and switched out before each stay, so you are not dealing with sheets and towels that were previously used in a cabin that allowed smoking, pets or fraternity parties. We have added liquid hand soap to each sink to ensure that all guests can continue to keep themselves and others germ-free. Also, if you decide to leave your mountain paradise, you are only minutes away from the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Additionally, per the terms of our rental agreement, YOU MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER in order to rent this cabin. Otherwise you must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian /group leader. Entire cabin other than two mechanical rooms/owner closets. Although I am not available in person, I am just a cell phone call away. I answer my phone 24/7 and contact my housekeeping and maintenance crew that live less than 10 minutes from the cabin. Their response rate and time is excellent. Approximately one week before a guest's stay, I email guests the check in information. This information contains the door code so you can go directly to the cabin at the 4:00PM check in time. That information also contains the cabin address, directions, what is and isn't included, how to work things in the cabin, check out reminders, etc.
