The cottage has granite countertops and bamboo flooring with a gorgeous stacked-stone, gas fireplace. Other features include a large walk in closet, vaulted ten foot ceilings, full size front loading washer and dryer and a luxurious walk in shower with floor to ceiling tile. The temperature is easily controlled with an efficient split duct system. The kitchen consists of full -sized appliances as well as many other amenities that make preparing meals a breeze. The queen sized bed is made up with bamboo sheets and a fluffy down comforter. Extra pillows and blankets are available as well. The cottage has a fenced, private garden with a comfortable seating area; the perfect place to relax while listening to the waves crashing nearby! The cottage is centrally located with quick easy access to local beaches, and is just a short drive to Redwood National and State Parks. The entire cottage is available for you! The private grassy yard is exclusively for guests. The entrance to the cottage is a natural moss and flagstone pathway with slightly uneven surface. The entire cottage is surrounded by a secure privacy fence. The driveway leading to the cottage entrance is illuminated at night by solar lanterns. The cottage is located behind our primary residence. Though we are often busy with our family, we may have the opportunity to say “hello” in passing, and we are happy to assist as needed. The cottage is located in a residential family neighborhood. Just a short 1/2 block to beach access. Pebble Beach is perfect for agate hunting, tide-pooling, whale watching, kayaking, SUP, and surfing. Not to mention the amazing sunsets! Cozy Coastal Cottage is a quick 1 minute walk to Pebble Beach. Easy drive to Redwood National and State Parks: 7 miles to Jedediah Smith Redwoods 17 miles to Trees of Mystery 26 miles to Fern Canyon Downtown shops and restaurants are a short drive or bike ride away. There is a public transit stop approximately 0.5 miles down the road. The regional airport is 2 miles away; offering daily connections to Oakland. We take pride in providing a clean, safe and comfortable "home base" for our guests as they explore all that the area has to offer. If you are interested in staying with your K-9 companion please review the house rules pertaining to pet-stays to ensure we are a good fit. We are unable to host cats or other pets at this time. All pet-stays will be up to the discretion of the host. Please do not use the instant book feature if you plan on bringing a pet but message the host first. We abide by the CDC's cleaning policies to ensure our guests come into a space they can feel comfortable staying in. Absolutely no smoking/vaping anywhere on property.
