Super comfy cottage with plenty of outdoor space, a relaxing patio, a screened in area, and a heated adult "kiddie" (2' x 8') pool! Perfect for couples, couples with 1 child, or up to 3 friends traveling together. Excellent location within a half a mile to the beach. Walk, bike or drive to the beach. Breezy, airy and bright. Newly renovated and well equipped. Private security gate. A perfect getaway. Bedding and linens are very comfortable. There are bikes on the property for riding to the beach. Beach chairs, coolers, etc., available for use. Less than half a mile from then beach, tiki bar/restaurant, ice cream shop and grocery. Laundry on site. 2nd bed is a rolling fold down hotel bed...would need to be set up in main living area. We are local and live less than 10 minutes away so we're close by if needed. What we love about the area is that it has a real laid back, beachy feel. There are several beautiful beaches in the area, Siesta Key, Crescent, Venice beach, etc., but Nokomis beach is laid back, never too crowded, has nice and clean facilities, and concessions. There is also a playground across from the beach for little ones and you can even walk down to the jetty park to watch the boats come in and out of the Gulf. It is a hidden treasure and perfect for those looking for more of a laid back vibe but still close enough to Venice and Sarasota for shopping, etc.
