Enjoy the beauty of Northern Idaho from our spacious 1,500 SF home on the water with 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen for entertaining. Walk to the beach, marina, and restaurant in just minutes. Enjoy 9 acres of parks, 9 miles of walking trails, cycle the paved bike path to Sandpoint or simply relax on the deck. Just a short drive to Schweitzer Mountain Resort for some of the best skiing and recreation in Idaho. This is our second home and we've done our best to make it comfortable and functional for your stay. It's a perfect home base for exploring the beauty and wilderness of Northern Idaho. Wildlife is abundant and it's not uncommon to see deer, moose and Canadian geese from the back yard. We fell in love with the mountain views and can spend hours relaxing on the covered deck. Bedding and linens for the futon will only be available when the number of guests exceed 6 or by special request prior to check-in. While you're here you will have access to the entire home and resort grounds. Certain features of the resort are at an additional fee, paid directly to Dover Bay Resort. Such as the pool, hot tub, and fitness room, and boat launch. We are happy to answer any questions you have during your stay. Also, we have partnered with local concierge professionals to assist you. Anything from housekeeping and personal shopping to airport shuttle service; we'd be happy to connect you with them. Dover Bay is a resort town. Summers are bustling with lots of visitors and activities. The Dish restaurant at the marina serves great food at reasonable prices and there is a market with all the essentials. The winter is more laid back and sleepy. The marina and public beach a 3 minute walk from our home. There are 9 miles of walking trails in Dover Bay and downtown Sandpoint is only 3 miles along the paved bike trail. Winters in Dover bring lots of snow! We love waking up to fresh powder. While we have a snow shovel in the garage, crews are scheduled to clear snow from the drive and sidewalks with every new snow. Relax and enjoy the weather without worry.
