Some of the best swimming, snorkeling, and surfing on Kauai are right out in front at Prince Kuhio Beach and Lawai Beach. Hawaiian sea turtles and tropical fish swim close to shore in a protected cove. The sound of the ocean You will enjoy the sound of the ocean, the birds singing, the tropical breeze, and the amazing sunrise every day from your lanai, which has a bar-height table and chairs so that you can fully enjoy this extraordinary setting. On the other side of the resort there is a koi pond, waterfalls, and a large swimming pool surrounded by a lush, exotic garden with a picnic and barbecue area. Located on the second floor, the 400 sf studio (including covered lanai) is tastefully decorated with island-style furnishings and a comfortable king bed. A split-system air conditioner was recently installed for your comfort. Even without a/c, many guests appreciate the cooling tradewinds that often blow through the windows and it is very comfortable for most of the year. The compact but well-equipped full kitchen has lots of extras. Beach towels and beach chairs are provided. All you will need are your swimsuit and flip flops! A laundry facility is available in Prince Kuhio complex, located next to the facilities manager’s office on the first floor near the front parking lot. The facilities manager is not an individual unit's property manager, however, he can be very helpful in a pinch during the eight-hour day when he is on site. Ample parking is usually available at the resort. There’s parking in the complex’s front parking lot, on the first floor of the adjacent parking garage, and along the roadside. If parking in the garage, please obtain a card from the site managers’s office and sign up even after hours when the office is often unlocked. If locked, sign up in the morning. The owner of this unit lives on-island about an hour away so assistance is always readily available.
