The Lahaina Gate House, permit number, is one of a few legal vacation rentals on Maui. It took us over 4 years, and tens of thousands of dollars to get our permit approved. We are most thankful to all our neighbors; everyone on Ilikahi Street signed a petition saying they want our home to be a vacation rental. They will be given all secure keyless entry information 7 days prior to arrival. Doris and Troy are our the caretakers who live on the property. The Lahaina Gate House is set in a quiet residential neighborhood in West Maui, in the small town of Lahaina. Any neighbors in the 6 houses on the short walk to the beach may say “aloha”, and welcome you to the Island. Stroll 5 blocks or ride bikes into town and enjoy shopping, nightlife, restaurants, museums, art galleries or boat tours from the harbor. We provide very local style bikes for hopping into to town. You may also stroll along a flat paved sidewalk, drive or catch a bus in Lahaina Town, just two blocks walking distance. There is extra vehicle parking on the corner of Front and Shaw.
