Freshly renovated this cottage built in 1900 is the perfect central location for whatever you might want out of your vacation - come to relax or explore all that Harpswell and Bailey Island have to offer. Within walking distance of the house are both Cook's Lobster and Ale House (look out the living room window!) and Morse's Cribstone Grill. Cedar Beach is just a hop down the street, as is BIGS (Bailey Island General Store). Two kayaks are available to use at tenants' risk at no additional cost. You could walk or kayak across the cove to Salt Cod Cafe for some seafood chowder, lobster rolls, or to rent additional water equipment. Large flat lot great for BBQ'ing with the propane grill, playing lawn games, sitting outside on the porch, or letting the kids/adults burn off energy in the backyard. With most of the living space on one level, it is great for anyone who may have a hard time doing stairs. The bright kitchen has a nice breakfast/coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, and a brand new refrigerator and stove. A nice living room with fantastic views of the cove and the Cribstone Bridge allows you to take in the ocean while still inside the cottage. The master bedroom which has a great nautical theme is located on the main floor and is equipped with a queen bed. As you make your way up the stairs you will find a loft area with two double beds.
