The kitchen is very well stocked so that you can make home-cooked meals if you don’t want to go out for a meal. The floor plan is perfectly situated for families or friends traveling together. The bedrooms are down the hall from each other - one has an en suite bathroom and the other shares a common full bathroom. The dining room is a perfect place to share a family meal, work on a puzzle or play a game. The front room has a pullout couch so can sleep up to two more people. You might note a bit of a religious theme to some art. That is not intended to suggest anything other than we buy local art when we can, and that often has a theme reflecting the Jesuit past of the area. Finally, while this is not an issue with most guests occasionally we have a guest who is not respectful of the neighbors, who welcome respectful vacation home renters. NO PARTIES OR OBNOXIOUS NOISE OR BEHAVIOR ARE PERMITTED IN THIS COMPLEX—if police are called you will be evicted with no refund. We have not yet had to go to this extreme so please be respectful. If you are looking for a party house just please book elsewhere. HOT TUB USAGE - our hot tub is serviced, as needed, by a trained technician. Guests are not allowed to drain, refill, or otherwise conduct maintenance on the hot tub. Guests may not alter the chemical balance or otherwise adjust the chemicals. If you have any concern about the hot tub, please contact the property manager immediately. 1. CONDO RULES. Our HOA has a zero tolerance approach to the following rules, so accordingly we must also. a. Parking only in the one allotted parking space. Park straight and all the way in. No double parking. The Condo association will tow violators and you must pay $100 if the tow truck is called but the vehicle is moved before it arrives. b. Campers or larger pickups or trucks are not permitted to park on the premises. Available parking can be found within walking distance. c. No loud parties or disruptive behavior whatsoever. d. 10 PM curfew. Thus, no hot tub usage, no outdoor gatherings and especially no loud behavior in common areas after 10 PM. e. Observe 10 mph speed limit and avoid rapid acceleration. f. Do not leave any trash outside unit and do not leave any items outside the wall enclosure. 2. PRICING. Set by Airbnb—it may be higher than price listed by Airbnb on the ad. Price blackmail will result in immediate termination of the reservation. 3. HOT TUB USAGE – please do not attempt maintenance. Call property manager immediately with any problem. 4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK you accept full responsibility for who is in the hot tub and their behavior. You agree to assume any risks and hold the owners, project managers and related persons harmless for any hot tub accidents or injuries. 5. PROPERTY MANAGERS ARE NOT A PERSONAL VALET SERVICE. This is a home—not a hotel. Our property managers are there to offer tips and answer questions. Some guests believe they are personal valets. They are not authorized to run errands or provide furnishings that are not in the home. 6. SMOKING PROHIBITED IN AND ON PROPERTY. Smoking is not permitted. You will be charged $200 to have the home cleaned to remove the smell. 7. EXPRESS CONDITION OF RENTAL. As a condition of the rental you are required to read the house rules and other material on the Airbnb site for this home and agree to them. You are required to give your assent before we finalize the rental. 8. PERSONAL ASIDE TO MOST GUESTS. This is our home, not our business. We do this mostly to share our home when we are not there at prices which we believe are fair. But we have found that a few out of ten people are not who they pretend to be. Until such persons drive us out of this endeavor we are delighted to do it for the majority of our guests.
