The space has lots of natural light that permeate the space through the 3rd-floor terrace sliding glass doors. - Step out onto your refreshing PRIVATE 3rd-floor TERRACE with amazing views of La Paz Bay and the Sea of Cortez! Nearby Golf: - Paraiso del Mar Golf - El Cortez Gary Player Signature Golf Club Getting Around: The townhome is about 17 miles | 10.6 km or about a 30-min drive to/from the Airport (LAP), and it’s a 2.5-hour drive or 123 miles | 198 km to/from San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD). Other Things to Note: IMPORTANT TO NOTE: During the summer months, the area experiences water shortages where at times you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom). Our local team can provide you with assistance if you have questions. The Torres de Cantera complex requires every guest to notify them of their time of arrival (at least 5 hours in advance) and if they will be using the amenities, and for how long. Please note that the parking is not covered during the storm season between June and November. Guests will need to climb stairs to access the upstairs area and the roof terrace. We provide some essentials complimentary upon arrival, such as some bottled drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, some shampoo & conditioner, and beach and bath towels. Please note these are not replenished. Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture, or wall stains will be charged at the time of checkout. There is no daily housekeeping service, but if you’d like to arrange for the place to be cleaned during your stay, it can be arranged at an additional charge. Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee, in this case, charged on the day of check-in to be paid in cash to our local team. A security deposit may be required before arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. Surveillance cameras are used on the exterior areas of the property solely for guest safety and security. HOUSE RULES: - Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book. - No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty. - No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors. - No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. - No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property. - Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay. - Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay. - Please avoid moving furniture. - Pets are not allowed unless there is prior authorization, and an extra fee may apply if such is given. Interaction with Guests: This is a self-check-in property. First, note, that the residential area is a guard gated. You’ll need to drive to the visitor’s gate on the right to get checked in by the guard and then continue on to the townhome building. The townhome building, Torres Cantera, where you’re staying also has controlled gated access entry. All the access information and codes if needed will be sent to you within 24 hours of your arrival.
