I love my coffee, so there are two different roasts and decaf, as well as creamers and sugar for those who like it sweet. There are at least six to eight different varieties of tea. Indoor activities include many board games, puzzles, and cards, Pac-man Arcade with several games built-in, and movies on 75” and 65” smart TV’s located in the main and lower living area with your favorite apps for streaming. ✫ ✫KITCHEN✫ ✫ Enjoy the open space floor plan on the main level of the home with kitchen, dining and living. The dining/island for six, plus a round bar height table for four allow ten guests to have seating for eating and relaxing. We've got several types of pillows for you to choose from. We want you to have a perfect night's sleep. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan. Our three bedrooms sleep 10. ✫Main Level✫ The Master Bedroom on the main level has a King bed with a Dr.Greene Kelly Soft Mattress and Duvet or Coverlet bedding option for premium comfort depending on the season. There are extra blankets for those who like to sleep even warmer. In addition to the ceiling light fan, there are two side lamps and an alarm clock/charging station. You will have direct access to your bathroom from your room, but the bathroom also has a door into the hallway if you choose to let those on the main level use it. The bathroom has a great barn door we installed for extra privacy and a step-in shower. A hairdryer and magnifying mirror are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your convenience. My husband likes to lock the door to the hallway and have the kids go to the upper or lower-level bathrooms. The log king bed has drawers on each side if you like to unpack and a fairly large closet. The Pack&Play is stored in the master closet for those traveling with young children. ✫Upper Level✫ The "East" room has a Queen log bed, new luxury mattress, dresser, two nightstands with table lamps, and an alarm clock/charger station. There is a ceiling light fan. The Upper-Level full Bathroom is between the “East” and “West” bedrooms. It has a shower and a tub. You’ll find a hair dryer and magnifying mirror in the bathroom for your use, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body, wash in the dispenser on the shower wall. The "West" room sleeps five or six with two bunk beds and a single bed. One bunk bed is a twin over a full (Photos show three bunks, but one bunk was broken by a guest and is now single). There is a dresser and nightstand, and a ceiling light fan. Each bed has a twin white coverlet bedding and a blanket at the end for additional warmth. There is an upper loft area not for use that we use to store items that has a custom fence. ✫Lower Level✫ Need different room configurations with your family and friends? We also offer a queen-size inflatable bed purchased from Costco if you wish to use it on the lower level. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub on the lower level. You will also find a hair dryer, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also an electric fireplace for added warmth as it stays cooler when the rest of the house is warm. There is also a basket of blankets for cozying up on the leather recliners. Need a place to work? A Bar-height desk set at the window allows you to see deer passing. A 65” TV is also located on this level. ✫ ✫ADVENTURE CAVE✫ ✫ On the lower level, there are toys, coloring paper/crayons, and books; log pillows to kick back in the cave or living area, and a carpeted area cave for your children to play. We’ve been careful to not have toys that could be a choking hazard. Please do check the toys available. There are also large Jenga blocks to pull out and build in the open living area. There are real caves you can visit while in Duck Creek Village. You can get to Ice Caves by car or ATV trails. You have the whole Chalet for your vacation. The chalet sits on half an acre. There are some owners year-round, but many are second home or vacation homeowners. Our neighborhood is filled with Pine trees and Aspen. We have an HOA as do many of the neighborhood sections. We want our guests to be respectful of our neighbors. Our neighbors to the east are owners and to our west - rent out their 2bd.1bth home. We are close to the village-only 2.3 miles if you go back to Duck Creek Ridge, but you can save a mile if you go another back route if roads are dry or you have 4X4. Oh! How I love the deer that come through! There are also sheep that come through in the fall. I have a video of some running down Redwood Road. The Duck Creek Village neighborhood roads are all dirt. In the winter or when the weather is stormy, having 4x4, AWD, and/or chains are needed. Our street, Redwood Road is long and uphill, but there is an alternate way if the road is too difficult on one section. Our driveway and lot are flat, flat. We have lots of parking on east and west side of our home. You'll see there are several ATV/Snow Mobile rentals in the village. My guidebook gives information on each one. So, cars, trucks, and ATVs are all around. Check with your host-owner of the chalet for grocery store suggestions. I love grabbing quick items/meals at our local True Value Grocery in the village, but for a full shopping, you'll likely want a cooler or cooler bag with ice to get your groceries from two grocery stores or Walmart in Cedar City if coming from the West or two grocery stores in Kanab (1 hr. from Chalet).
