Welcome to your ‘Hone Sweet Home’ from the Hone family! Jerry owns the property and with the help of his family (Brad and Kristi) rents out the lower unit. All doors have coded locks for easy access any time of day. We specialize in short term extended stays for healthcare travelers (Kristi was a traveler) & responsible professionals. The home is located walking distance to both hospitals (.4 miles to CHI, .8 miles to Sanford). It is close to downtown restaurants & breweries. This cozy 1 bedroom lower level duplex has been remodeled! It has some unique characteristics and some 1930s blemishes we couldn’t totally re-do, but is the perfect spot to stay in Bismarck while you’re here. You will enter the house from the side entry where there is a key coded door. You then go straight through another door finding the stairs, going straight down. At the stair landing you’ll be in the laundry room (which you can use) and to your right will be the key coded entry door to your guest suite. All outside entrances have motion sensing lights. Jerry is a quiet man and hard of hearing. He’s not a big talker but loves to sit outside, esp. in summer to enjoy the weather. Feel free to say hello to him! We will leave you to enjoy your stay but if you need anything you will mostly communicate with the Hone family (Kristi), so feel free to call or text! Located in the heart of Bismarck, the house is close to downtown, hospitals, restaurants, and the great local Laughing Sun brewery (walking distance from house). Laughing Sun has great food, ax throwing lanes, and features live bands, trivia, etc. so we highly recommend! Walking distance to hospitals, Laughing Sun brewery and restaurant. Free parking in driveway or on the street. Uber and Lyft available as well as taxi company. Jerry does have some home health nursing support that comes weekly and one of us are at the house daily as well as his sister visiting every couple weeks. Jerry can be unsteady on his feet at times, so please don’t be alarmed, but feel free to call Kristi with any concerns. This does not interfere with your space at all, but just wanted you to be aware. The guest suite is smoke free but Jerry does smoke in the home and outside. If that is problematic this rental may not be the right fit for you.
