Your and your guests will be in the heart of Moscow's family-friendly historic tree-lined neighborhood when staying at this charming, updated house built in 1903. Just a half-mile walk to Main Street and even closer to East City Park. Main floor: Kitchen: Enjoy cooking and hanging out the spacious kitchen. All appliances are new and you can help yourself to any of the kitchen gadgets, utensils and tools. There is a large counter with 3 bar stools as well as a desk. Living room: Enjoy the wood fireplace and large cozy couch to lounge and watch Netflix and Hulu or listen to records. Dining room: The table seats 4, although we have comfortably had 6 at the table for dinner. Half bath: Off the kitchen Laundry: New washer and dryer with detergent and softener available. Upstairs: Bedroom 1: In this room, you will find a twin bed (pillow-top mattress) with a twin trundle (memory foam mattress) and a closet with some room for your items. Bedroom 2: You will find a twin bed with a trundle twin- both with memory foam mattresses. There is also a dresser with room to store your belongings. This is our daughter’s room, so you will also find some toys and kids' books that she would like to share with your children. Bedroom 3: There is a queen bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress and walk-in closet and dresser where you will be provided some space to store your belongings. Bathroom: The bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead and other bathroom essentials. Just outside the bathroom, there is a linen shelf stocked with extra linens for your use. Outdoors: In the back, there are two decks for enjoying the private yard with an outdoor grill, firepit, heat lamp, and pizza oven. A large outdoor table can accommodate up to 10 guests. In the large front yard, you will find a kids' playground and a front porch with swing and Adirondack chairs. You will have access to the entire livable space. Please do not go into the basement or garage. These are used for storage only. You can contact me with any questions during your stay. The house is set in the historic Fort Russell neighborhood with lots of beautiful architecture to be seen. This is a family and dog friendly neighborhood with 4 parks within walking distance. There is room for 3-4 cars in the driveway and plenty of street parking. The house is within walking distance to 4 parks and downtown. Moscow is a bike-friendly town. We have two dogs that won’t be there when you are visiting. We also have an indoor/mostly outdoor cat who is as sweet as can be. She will likely stay away unless you invite her in. Please keep in mind that this is our family home. While we want you to feel that this is your home away from home, we do not plan to clear out our personal belongings. If you open a cupboard or drawer, you will probably see our things.
