Welcome to a cozy oasis in Carterville! This pet-friendly (both dogs and cats!) home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on a corner lot. Complete with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and a fenced in yard, you're welcome to spread out and relax. This lovely home is a primary residence when not being rented on AirBnB. It is cared for with love and attention to detail. Carterville is central to both Carbondale and Marion, and within a 15 minute drive to SIU and the Shawnee National Forest. The front door opens to a cozy living room with a large bay window. There’s seating for people and pets, with a large smart TV and electric fireplace for your use. The kitchen is located off the living room, and was updated in 2022. There is kitchen table seating for 4, which is also a great office space for anyone who needs to get some work done while traveling. There is access to everything you’ll need to make a meal at home, if you’d prefer to stay in. Off the kitchen is a spectacular screened in porch (redone in May, 2023) with seating for 4 and complete with a doggy door for your furry friend to come and go from the fenced in yard as they please. A grill and fire pit are also available for use in the yard. This home has a comfortable pass through bathroom (stocked with everything guests may need) that leads to a laundry space, which guests are welcome to utilize during their stay. Each of the two lovely bedrooms offers a comfortable double bed with thoughtful bedding choices. One bedroom offers a smart TV, while the other does not. A large pack n’ play and high chair are available for use upon request. The whole home will be yours during your stay! The third bedroom and garage remains locked to respect the home owners’ personal property. I live nearby and am always happy to assist if any needs arise.
