Our renovated 1940's Sears home welcomes you and family including our most beloved family member, the dog, to historical downtown Frederick! Both bedrooms upstairs boast plush king sized beds and dormer windows for a touch of charm. The main level bedroom offers two twin beds, which can easily convert to a king, if desired. Cooking is fun in this well appointed kitchen, or grill on our Weber charcoal kettle. Relax next to our fire pit on custom live edge benches while roasting marshmallows. When you are ready for a day of adventure, a short walk or bike ride take you to the heart of Baker Park and onward to downtown Frederick. Enjoy the convenience of being in city limits without worrying about parking; plenty of free on street parking is available. Traveling for work? We are in close proximity to RT-15, I-270, and I-70 as well as Frederick Health Hospital (FHH). Whether your trip is two nights or two months, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We look forward to seeing you in beautiful Frederick, Maryland. Guests are permitted full access to the home and yard to include grills, gazebo and fire pit. We do note that our unfinished basement is not kid-friendly, but the games in the sunroom are! We want you to come enjoy and make yourself at home. We are available to the level that guests are comfortable. The house is set up for instant book and keyless locks for guests who prefer less interaction. We also love our home and our town and are available to chat with you about both as much as you like! We allow our guests to drive the pace and frequency of interaction. We are located in the Brigadoon Neighborhood of Frederick City, close to Baker park and downtown. We are very close to Maryville park, which is a great place for a picnic, horseshoes, dog walking or letting the kids play on the recently updated jungle gym. Guests can get to Frederick by car, train or bus. Once you are here, the city is very walkable and bike-able. Strolling the parks and beautiful downtown is one of our favorite pass times. We are a pet friendly listing. We allow dogs with prior approval for a $100 per stay fee, please select this option when booking. We currently do not allow cats, as we are both allergic. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis for mid-term stays (30 days or more) with prior approval. Please contact with any questions.
