The Lawson Cabin is on a country road where all the neighbors know each other and are most likely related in some way. It’s a very safe and friendly area. Depending on the season of your visit, you may be lucky enough to watch tobacco being set, cut or housed. Or hay cut, raked or baled. A left out of the drive way at Lawson Cabin, then a right turn takes you back to the Interstate and the Ark Encounter. We, at Simpson Ridge Farm welcome every person, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or national origin. We are all one happy and loving family. You’ll also find our dogs and cats to be very friendly. They will probably come visit you at the Cabin. So if you see Lady, or Sammie (the dogs) or KIKI and Rusty (the cats) don’t be afraid. They only want a pat on the head. Just tell them to “go home” and they should mosey on down the lane, up the road or next door. Myrtle and Elzie are our donkeys.
