This private basement suite is great for getting away from it all! Well lit and thoughtfully decorated, you’re sure to relax and unwind after a long day. At The Hideaway, you’ll enjoy a private entrance, king size bed, 2 chaise lounges, a writing desk, large TV, walk in shower, and hotel like amenities. While there’s not a full kitchen, you do have access to a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Whatever brings you to Carbondale, know you can always stop here for a rest at The Hideaway! As you enter through the side door (Door B) of the home, there’s a set of stairs down to your own little bunker. It’s one big open room with bedroom, living room, kitchenette, study, and separate bathroom. Basement guests are asked to park on the street in front of the white house. Walk up the driveway to access the side door (labeled B). You’ll have access to the finished basement. You probably won’t see us, but we’re only a message away! We’re known for answering very quickly :) Our neighborhood is comprised mostly of college students and long term residents of Carbondale! Everyone I’ve ever met has always been super friendly. Carbondale has gotten some awesome scooters, rent one and give yourself a scenic tour! The driveway is currently reserved for the main house guests, but there is still lots of street parking across from the house. Please be mindful when booking that there is a potential for noise from the upstairs guests. As stated in the rules, no smoking of any kind. Due to the stair entrance to the space, this is not a handicap accessible stay. We have two outdoor security cameras, one above the door to the main part of the house that watches the main entrance, some of the yard and driveway, and another in front of the enclosed garage that watches the door to the hideaway and the rest of the driveway.
