Local taxis and buses, and water-taxis are also within easy reach for those interested in seeing more of the island. This listing is for a spacious self-contained apartment with 2 comfortable, airy double bedrooms boasting ample storage spaces and sea views, with private balcony attached to the larger of the two. Each bedroom has air conditioning and mosquito netting, and large windows which let in fresh breeze and light. The apartment is fully furnished, and has a large common area with 2 large sofas, a 4-seat dining table, a breakfast bar, and a large kitchen in an open plan. All windows are fitted with mosquito screens and discreet security bars (not that they are needed, as this is a very secure area). The main balcony opens to a panoramic view of Tyrell Bay and the Southern coast of the island. There is also an outdoor shower area for rinsing off on your return from the beach. The neighbourhood is very safe, quiet, and friendly. You couldn't wish to live in a nicer place and locals will welcome you and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The island as a whole is pretty much the same. It's very easy to get around. Jeep hires are readily available, or there are local buses that run on the main road into the central town of Hillsborough and other areas.
